HIRE PURCHASE AGREEMENT FORM TERMS:
Before any instrument can be issued, please email your child’s name, school and their current school year to cheshiredr@gmail.com AND ensure you are happy to proceed under these terms.
-This hire purchase agreement may be cancelled within 14-days of receiving the instrument. It is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER to return the instrument, case and supplied accessories in good order to Cheshire Music at their own expense to ensure a refund of the initial hire purchase payment.
- The initial hire offer is for 3-months use and is open to UK children in full time education. Payment then switches to 10 monthly amounts to purchase instrument or you can return the instrument at any stage. Cheshire Music will contact you before the end of the 3-month period to explain your options.
- Care of the instrument is assumed the responsibility of the hirer (or parent / guardian if under 18).
- Insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser. Your home policy may cover, but please check that cover includes travel back and forth from lessons if applicable.
- Any loss or damage should be reported immediately to David Reynolds on behalf of Cheshire Music.
- The instrument should be working correctly during the 12-month hire purchase period. If there are any issues with the instrument, Cheshire Music will rectify these on a return to Cheshire Music basis.
- The instrument remains the property of Cheshire Music until the final payment has been made at the end of the hire purchase agreement or the total cost of the instrument has been settled in advance.
- This hire purchase scheme may be cancelled within the 12-month purchase period, providing monthly payments are up to date. The customer is responsible for returning the instrument, case and supplied accessories in good order to Cheshire Music at their own expense. Any damages to the instrument will be charged, up to the full price of the instrument, shown under the “Cost of Hire Purchase” above.
- Settlement in full of the instrument can be made at any time. All payments MUST be paid by their due date by standing order / BACS transfer arranged with your own bank.
- The supply of any instrument for sale is subject to the customer agreeing to these terms.
