Clarinets need the bore drying after each practise to keep the pads in optimal condition. This budget Clarinet Maintenance Pack provides everything you need to keep your clarinet in good working order and to keep repair and servicing costs to a minimum.
This maintenance pack can be used on all student clarinets made of ABS plastic. It can also be used on Grenadilla wood clarinets, although some players may choose to purchase a maintenance pack specifically for Grenadilla wood instruments including bore oil.
This pack provides everything needed to maintain and take care of your instrument and should last for a minimum of 3 years.
Clarinet Servicing - clarinets should still be serviced by a specialist instrument repairer as follows:
Yamaha clarinets – service every 18 months - 2 years.
Buffet / Jupiter – service every 12 - 18 months.
